You know, it’s really exciting to announce something you believe in. Cliff is someone I believe in. Goldship is a team I believe in. I’ve watched Cliff transform musically into this true to life, soul baring, authentic songwriter he is today. I’ve watched him grow into the beautiful person he is today. If you haven't gathered, I've known Cliffy a long time. I've seen this guy grow up, hell, I grew up alongside him in a lot of ways. Secret Lives of the Freemasons was one of the first bands I was fortunate enough to work with 20+ years ago, and I'm incredibly proud to be working with Cliff again.

I know these songs are real because we’ve discussed what they mean. This is more than a piece of music. It’s the story of the every day person from Appalachia. As a self professed “hillbilly from Southwest Virginia”, it feels like the stories I heard growing up.
